Van Doren’s Landing Park

Nestled against the Green River west of downtown Kent, Van Doren’s Landing Park offers fishing, trail access and playground fun. The recently renovated park (reopened June 2023) has horseshoe pits, a wiffleball field, pickleball court and a children's play area with a new Mount Rainier-inspired climbing structure! The park features two large covered picnic shelters, barbecues, multi-use play field, public art and a paved trail. The site also offers a vast network of trails and nature experiences in the Green River Natural Resource Area. You'll find access to the Green River Trail, a great option for bikers and walkers! The urban trail stretches nearly 20 miles along the scenic Green River from Kent to Seattle’s southern boundary, linking industrial areas to neighborhoods and parks. Van Doren’s Landing Park also provides access to the Kent Valley Loop Trails.
