Greater Kent Historical Society Museum
Kent’s history is as rich as the Green River Valley soil. In fact, lettuce was such a big deal the city threw a huge party every year to celebrate it. That’s just a taste of what you’ll discover at the Greater Kent Historical Society Museum. Plan a visit and find out how Kent made the leap from growing hops to making moon buggies. The museum is housed in the historic Bereiter House and features seven period rooms that let you imagine life at the turn of the 20th century. Visiting is easy on the pocketbook. A $2 donation is suggested. The museum and grounds are also a popular spot for weddings, receptions and garden parties.
