Flaming Geyser State Park

Set on the scenic Green River east of Kent, Flaming Geyser State Park offers hiking and horse trails, water recreation and front-row seats to fall salmon runs. It’s also a popular spot for model flying activities. The 503-acre day-use park has more than three miles of freshwater shoreline. Flaming Geyser is centered around a unique geological feature, a cluster of once-active methane seeps. The flame no longer burns, but area’s history lives on in the park’s interpretive panels. Four group picnic sites make a perfect setting for company barbeques, birthday parties and family reunions. Each site accommodates 50 people and can be reserved.
