Day 1
Make the most of your late afternoon arrival with happy hour at Asadero Prime. If the weather complies, choose a table on the covered patio. Family-owned Asadero is known for its wagyu beef, house-made salsas and authentic Mexican-flavored side dishes.
Test your wits and mystery-solving skills at Sure Lock Escapes. Dragons, dungeons and pixies star in two themed escape rooms at the site in downtown Kent.

Day 2
Sleep in then head over to Firestarter Bar & Grill for a mid-morning breakfast. The hashbrowns stuffed with cheese and jalapenos are popular; customize with meat, mushroom, egg or a side of gravy.
Take a tour of Asia with just one stop, the Great Wall Shopping Mall. Anchored by 99 Ranch Market, the array of eateries includes Mia & More sugarcane drinks, Mei Wa Bakery, Wild Cumin halal, Heji Restaurant, Sushi Daruma Ya and Spicy Chong Qing (Szechuan).
Continue the international flavor tour at Tolo International Halal Market. The cozy shop’s friendly staff will answer all your questions about the halal meats, plus nuts, seasonings, groceries and cookies.
Walk around the corner for lunch at Paparepas. The authentic Venezuelan menu includes meaty arepas, hearty combo bowls and empanadas.
Ready for a time out? Morrill Meadows Park is one of Kent’s many parks with flat, paved trails. Perfect for fresh air and preparing for the next round of noshing.
You can smell the kabobs sizzling on the outdoor grill when you enter Byblos Mediterranean Market, Restaurant & Deli. Shawarma, sides and a case full of desserts are available alongside a few aisles of specialty grocery items.
The hospitality is as warm and memorable as the Indian cuisine served at Chashni Sweets & Kitchen. Curries, Chole Poori and Chana Masala are among the menu’s many highlights.
Day 3
Welcome the day in the bright natural light of Naya’s Café. Choose from six versions of eggs benedict or the flavorful Chorizo Con Huevo.
Before you leave Kent, stop by the Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum. Colorful boats, restored models and historical displays will make you a fan of this longtime PNW sport.
